Somebody in the comment section of this video asked, ‘how is this guy not famous yet?’ Well, we’re wondering the same thing after seeing this masterpiece of a song and visual. Jay Isaiah might’ve had his love stolen, but he sure stole the show with this one!
The classic melancholy RnB keys tucked under deep percussion creates the perfect scene for the eerie, nighttime vibe that starts off the video. What’s really cool is how the song picks up and Isaiah sings about morning coming, and how the storyline in the video then progresses to the morning, following him and his girl through the day. It feels super well thought-out and executed.
This dude is no doubt going to be famous in no time. With that undeniably smooth voice and strong songwriting ability, we’re sure of it.
