LA-based singer, Dava, proves that she is ready for stardom with her newest offering ‘New Ceilings’. The latest single gives an introspective look into the sacrifice of chasing a dream, and she uses this new song as therapy to get out her personal frustrations of moving to the city of angels. Although it is hard to juggle having a personal life and a dream, Dava validates all the hard work she has put in up until now. ‘New Ceilings’ is a triumphant song about realizing that everything you are doing is worth the sacrifice and that no one else needs to limit your success.
In addition to releasing the highly infectious record, Dava dropped the music video to accompany the track. The video perfectly fits Dava’s image and gives a closer look into who she is as a person. The color grading is perfect, and the close-up visuals almost make it feel like a day in the life video. Just like the lyrics in the song, Dava wants you to know that she is successful, but she can also be quirky and have real-world issues. With that being said, make sure to keep an eye out for Dava.
