Oak Park, Sacramento native Mozzy has been releasing albums since 2011. 9 years later, the rappers has anything but lost his touch. His latest offering the Blxst-assisted "“Streets Ain’t Safe” takes a soft, guitar-infused look at fusing trap with some Beautiful Thugger Girls inspiration. This soft, but still hood, banger might just be enough to get us through this fall.
It’s obvious that rap is as dangerous of a game as it is difficult, and Mozzy has managed not only to succeed musically but also personally, isolating his status as a staple of the Hip-Hop community. The video it self is supersaturated with grainy film and gritty shots of the artists in their element, putting the truth behind “Streets Ain’t Safe” on full display. Check out the video for stellar visuals and a sure-fire playlist add.
Lyrics That Stick:
“I'm convinced she don't want nobody else
Kiss it and never tell, she litty all by herself
Ain't need a nigga for help, I couldn't help it
I'm on a line like all the time, baby fell through
What's poppin' off?”
