Max Winds might be a new name on the scene, but it’s one to remember for sure. The Canadian rapper’s year-old career is full of tracks with merciless flows and frighteningly sharp rhymes. His latest offering, the NSTY-edited video for “Ugly,” produced by Ryan Mendoza, is a 3 minute long, 80’s-infused, Wes Anderson-esque fever dream.
NSTY tries their hardest to steal the show, but Max doesn’t let up on this club banger hopeful. “Ugly” is a perfect edition to the rapper’s rapidly expanding discography, and I for one can’t wait to see where his vision takes his career. There’s more than just flash and swagger in this video, Max Winds really gives you a sense of who he is as an artist.
