Emerging out of Tacoma, WA, rising singer/songwriter, Caesar, The Martyr, has caught our attention with his unique brand of alternative rock that shines with originality. After initially hearing his project “We Wilt, We Bloom”, I was super excited to see that he had a new single and visual for “Getting Nowhere Fast”. The single is packed with energy and it shows how fast the Washington native has been progressing as an artist.

In the visual for the single, we see VHS effects and red backlights come to the forefront in a very 2000s styled rock video. Caesar shines like never before and he gives one of his best performances as he is seen looking in dismay while trying to capture the vibe of his song. The video transitions between scenes of him playing and guitar and singing, and the visual is a knockout in our opinion! With that being said, make sure to stream above!

Lyrics That Stick:

“I tried to run, but that shit too far

I tried to change but that shit too hard”
