SAWYER09 Makes An Incredible Debut With His Visual For “Chiara”

When it comes to music discovery, there are these amazing moments when you find a groundbreaking artist that you know will stand the test of time. This week I was lucky enough to find 22-year old singer/songwriter SAWYER09. Coming out of Long Island, NY, SAWYER09 debuts on our pages with his first release “Chiara”. The single is beautiful from start to finish, and it has a euphoric touch that will make you want to keep it on repeat. In addition to the single, he also accompanied the song with a nostalgic video that captures the beauties of suburbia and the feeling of being in love.
In the visual for the single, we see a retro shot video of SAWYER09 singing outside while surrounded by a tv, coffee table, and futon styled couch. The visual reminds me of something Frank Ocean would have done when shooting for his mixtape Nostalgia Ultra. There is this uniqueness about the visual, and it meshes well with the originality of the record. With that being said, stream it above and fall in love with SAWYER09.
