Cody Lawless & Powfu Share Their Nostalgic New Single “Friday Night With The Neighbours”

Hailing from Mission, B.C, emerging singer-songwriter, Cody Lawless, has been captivating listeners with an indie-pop sound that pulls at listeners heartstrings. Although he has rebranded from his former name KNOWN, Lawless has continued to impress us with singles such as “Daygo”, “Himalayas”, & “Hold My Hand, Maria”. Now, he debuts on our pages with his latest single “Friday Night With The Neighbours” that features BangerOfTheDay favorite Powfu.
The single is a nostalgic masterclass that details the mischevious feeling of sneaking out as a kid and experiencing life for the first time. It’s a song that touches on diving into those first life experiences such as falling in love, fantasizing about the future, and watching the stars on the rooftop. The collaboration between Cody Lawless and Powfu is exceptional. Cody’s mesmerizing melodies and strong songwriting meshes well with Powfu’s signature rap-singing style to a “T”.
