A$AP Rocky Shines On Nigo’s “Arya”

When I think of global influence, Harlem-born rapper, A$AP Rocky, is always the first that comes to mind. Over the last decade, he has captivated us with his eclectic style, luxurious taste in fashion, and his innate ability to craft songs that speak to our hearts. Rocky is a pioneer, and his trail blazing ways have allowed him to reach many. Although he has been patiently working on his new album, the rapper has been featured on countless singles over the last year that have reassured us that he is back on his “A” game. Now, he is back as a feature on Nigo’s new single “Arya”, and the song is just unbelievable.
As the founder of Bape, it is only right that Nigo made his long-awaited return to music with a feature from Rocky. When it comes to looking at the bigger picture, they are both globally known and they have shown versatility as artists and as business professionals. Although this was my first time hearing Nigo’s music, I wasn’t disappointed. Over the 3-minute runtime, Rocky flows effortlessly over moody melodies, hard-hitting 808s, and infectious keys that shine in the background. There was something about the production that reminded me of the rawness and Harlem influence and A$AP’s earlier work. Overall, this was a great return for both artists and I cant wait to hear the rest of Nigo’s upcoming album if it’s anything like this.
