In the age of Tik Tok stars and one-hit wonders, it seems as if it has gotten harder and harder for artists to grow a fanbase that takes them to international stardom. However, San Francisco rockstar, 24kGoldn, has taken the challenge face first and ran with it. After putting out infectious songs like ‘Mood’ and ‘Coco’, it seems as if the artist has done everything right. His carefree guitar-driven singles have brought together listeners from all genres into a space where they are all able to accept the versatility and personality of the rising star. With his new single ‘3,2,1’, he continues that hot streak and he provides us with visuals that show us that this may be his next viral hit.
The Austin Peters visual starts with 24kGoldn in a 70s Esque motel room belting to his lover that someone messed up, and he is trying to get the truth. The production of ‘3,2,1’ is electric, and the scenes of him and his lover riding through the empty Los Angeles streets make it all the more real. 24kGoldn is overwhelmed by this relationship, and he knows deep down this girl played him. However, he is a superstar and he doesn’t have to stick around if she’s going to continue this run. The video is a perfect match, and it provides the needed story for another hit for the emerging California artist.
