Although it’s been 2 years since her album Master, Mariah The Scientist came to save 2021 with the announcement of her forthcoming album Ry Ry World, and she also blessed us with a euphoric single titled ‘2 You’. The record is a trippy song about a failed romance. In addition to the deep and introspective lyricism, the Atlanta-bred songstress’ perfect vocal blend meshed with the smooth riding beat makes this a song you will want on repeat. After announcing the release, she came through with the trifecta and gave fans a fun visual for the new single.

The visuals begin with smooth transitions that take us through space and a Tron-esque galaxy to help build the trippy feel we get from the song. As the video opens up, we see Mariah singing in her own world as she dances in space. The video is magical and it has us very excited for the new album. With that being said, take a minute and stream the video above.

Lyrics That Stick:

“Should have left you last July but I was only tryna save us

Maybe it’s these memories or maybe it's the chase

Or maybe it's whenever I roll over to your face

Whatever it is, I know you don't wanna be saved”
