I have always been a sucker for nostalgic jams that bring me back to my teenage years, so when I heard marcos g’s new single ‘17 anymore’, I had to press play. The single is captivating and drenched with hypnotic percussion and compelling lyrics that will transport you back in time. With its smooth sonics and feel-good vibes, the single proves to be a record that you will want to play on the beach with your friends at sunset. In addition to the single, he also released a relatable video to accompany the single.

In the video for ‘17 anymore’, marcos takes us to the country grasslands with some of his friends. The video does a great job of capturing the freedom of being young, and it brings back those feelings of thinking you are invincible. Between the grassland shots and the late-night shots with red lighting, the video leaves me reminiscing about being young and naive. That’s a feeling I miss so much.
