Tim Buds Returns With His Latest Offering “zoo”

Although it feels like this year has been relatively quiet when it comes to major releases, emerging singer-songwriter, Tim Buds, has been one of the most consistent artists of the year. For anyone new to Tim Buds, he is an eclectic singer with an innovative brand of music that begs to be heard. His style ranges mostly between alternative-rock & pop with punk undertones. With more than half a decade in the industry, his style has changed but his quality continues to rise. Now, he returns to our pages with his latest offering “zoo”.

Sonically, the record is laced with a captivating guitar riff that sets the entire tone of the single. Buds’ vocals are exceptional. He initially brings you in with light croons before shifting into a hook that expresses his feeling of be “stuck”. Tim Buds displays his need to break free of his environment as he wonders if what he’s pursuing is worth it. These thought of being lost or alone are relative to be locked in a cage like animals are at the zoo. In addition to the narrative, I loved the lush melodies and the songwriting.
