Over the last couple of months, Futuristic and Michael Minelli have proven themselves to be a fantastic duo. Their songs are always cohesive and you can tell that they have strong chemistry. With their new song, ‘You Said It’, they continue their hot streak with a guitar-driven slow jam.

‘You Said It’ is a smooth single that has elements of early 2000s R&B and Hip-Hop. The production features layers of pitch-down vocals, 808s, and a guitar melody that is absolutely infectious. In addition, to the catchy production, this is one of the best vocal performances I have heard from Futuristic. His ability to craft the raw and emotional verses but also deliver an infectious hook is a true talent. Michael Minelli is the icing on the top for this masterpiece. His smooth melodies bring that extra element of soul to take this song across the finish line. Although it is not summer yet, I can tell this will be on repeat on those hot lake days!

Lyrics That Stick

“I know you got your friends smile on me like that's some sort of a game

Probably 'cause you stoned and realized that that new mans a lame”
