Chris Miles has been in the game for a while now and his newest single “yamisosad” via Boom records is something you definitely don’t wanna miss out on.In this song, Chris kicks off the new year with a new sonic return wherein he finds himself wallowing in emotion, all while trying to rationalize his infidelity.
This track is produced by Synthetic and Cody Colacino and I think the production works perfectly for the song as it compliments the mood along with Chris’s songwriting really well. The song’s production begins with a dreamy gritty synth accompanied by an engaging counter synth, hard knocking trap drums and vocal chops. I personally love it when artists get candid in their songs and write about how they are currently feeling, that paired with good songwriting and production makes the song a straight hit in my eyes.
This song is definitely going to be on repeat for awhile. Chris Miles’s musicianship and songwriting abilities are going to make him shoot onto the mainstream scene anytime now, so check him out before then!
