Jaylon Ashaun is an up and coming RnB artist based out of Houston and his newest single “Hide and Seek” will definitely leave you impressed. Jaylon draws inspiration from a number of early influences ranging from One Republic to Xavier Omar which helped craft his own unique sound.In this song, Jaylon goes over being in love and expresses how he has found the one for him.
The production on the track works perfectly for the song as it compliments the mood along with the songwriting on it really well. This song’s production consists of a mellow pad melody along with engaging trap drums with an interesting drum breakdown in the last hook. I personally love it when artists get candid in their songs, that paired with good songwriting and production makes the song a straight hit in my eyes. I think anyone who appreciates good Alt-RnB music would love this song.
