Meltt May Have The Song Of The Summer With Their Latest Single “Within You, Within Me”

If you are looking for a new band to get acquainted with, then look no further. As a fan of bands that bring a combination of heavy riffs, colorful instrumentation, dynamic sonics, and relatable songwriting, I was blown away when I came across the latest single from emerging band Meltt.
On their latest record “Within You, Within Me”, they deliver an indie-rock masterpiece that is backed by lush melodies and laced with warm vocals and dynamic production. I don’t know what it is but this band has a rawness to them that pulls me in. In addition, they remind me of some my favorite talents at the moment such as Goth Babe, Tame Impala, Two Door Cinema Club, and MGMT to name a few.
As for the single, “Within You, Within Me” is about finding out who you are by letting down your defenses and learning to love someone else. The song is meant to evoke the feeling of driving back from a summer adventure with the windows down whilst the sun sets. To be fair, this is a topic that we can all work on personally which makes the single so relatable. Although it does tackle a more mature concept, I love how the song is made for the warm weather and days spent on the beach. This has to be one of my favorite finds as of recent and it will get a lot of replay value during the summer.
