Spence - Too Quick

Every year I get older, I have thoughts about things I wish I had, and I also yearn to go back in time to the “good days”. In between those thoughts sit those nostalgic memories that make me smile at where I have come from. Over the years, I have realized that I’m personally scared of getting older because I don’t want to lose the person I think I am. I don’t want to break the sacred bond with my youth. With his new song ‘Too Quick’, Spence says everything that is on my mind.
The intoxicating single is an ode to anyone that feels like they are growing up too quickly. I relate to this song in so many ways. After college, I’ve felt like I have been living without a purpose, and I feel as if days and years are constantly passing by. With his smooth vocals and upbeat production, Spence gives an introspective look into his own views of growing up. At the end of the day, growing up is inevitable, but he wants us to know that we can still keep that same kid inside us while we age. ‘Too Quick’ has become the anthem to my adult life, and I can’t stop listening.
Lyrics That Stick:
“I think it’s too late to
Go back and change up our ways”
