SZNS - Mountainside

With his second song of 2020 and his third of all time on streaming platforms, SZNS is back with a new song, and just like the previous 2, it’s amazing. SZNS has a very specific, simple yet elegant sound that makes me feel like there were hundreds of songs written but not released while he perfected his craft.
On ‘Mountainside’, every single sound serves a purpose in getting to the objective of making beautiful music. It’s amazing how clean it all sounds, and his incredible vocals are rising over the top of the instrumental. ‘Mountainside’ shows SZNS getting personal about becoming his best self, and growing through adversity. There’s a pretty high likelihood that you’ve never heard of SZNS yet, but if you check him out, there’s also a high likelihood that you’ll love it.
