ShaqIsDope - Level Up

ShaqIsDope. His name pretty much sums up how I feel about him, and it’s reinstated in my mind with every new release. This one is called ‘Level Up’, and it’s about as hot as anything that we’ve heard from him this far, which is definitely saying something.
‘Level Up’ has a crazy offbeat feel to the drums, which kind of reminds me of ‘Rigamortis’ by Kendrick Lamar. ShaqIsDope absolutely kills it, with a killer flow but even better subject matter. His confidence shines through on the track, but he backs it all up by explaining where he came from and how hard he’s worked to get here. In his eyes (and mine, too), he really feels like he deserves success and he’s doing his all to ‘level up’.
