Cruising down country backroads on long summer nights has been something me and my friends have always thought of as tradition. During these wonderful times, we often reminisce about nostalgic memories while playing some of our favorite tunes. This week, I was impressed when I heard the latest single from one of my favorite songwriters Sophia Alexa. Ever since hearing her stellar single “Hit and Run”, her music has always had a spot in my heart. I don’t know if its her calming vocal tone or her ability to evoke raw emotions, but she is blessed with an incredible talent. Now, she is back with her latest single “The Way You See Me” and I absolutely hooked.
“The Way You See Me” is a spell bounding song that details a relationship that is based off of mixed emotions and adolescence. Sonically, the song is full of lush melodies, exceptional instrumentation, and the lyrics are so pure. I love everything about this song and it is my go to for long drives at dusk. Sophia Alexa is an artist that you truthfully need to keep an eye out for and I can’t wait to see her progression. With that being said, stream the song below and add it to your playlists.
