Colin Kamari - SATURATED

Growing up in a time where A$AP Mob and Odd Future were rising in the industry, a rap collective I was enamored by was Pro Era. With their raw vocals and eerie production, they left an imprint on what I think rap should sound like. With his new single titled ‘SATURATED’, Colin Kamari checks all my boxes. The song is an ode to early 2010’s production. It’s in your face, and the beat switches will make you want to rage and lose all sense of control.
With him being an artist/producer, the 17-year-old Atlanta native is cashing his name in to be one of the best-kept secrets at the moment. Kamari’s music is relentless and unapologetic. At times, the production reminds us of Clams Casino Esque production that we saw A$AP Rocky use in the early days of his career. His ability to write compelling songs and create appealing production does not go unnoticed. This kid has everything he needs with his ear, and he has a bright future ahead.
Lyrics That Stick:
“My apologies
I was too stubborn
To give you sympathy”
