With an ode to the early 2000s, Brendan Bennett lets loose in a guitar-driven single that has a personable and angsty feel. On his new single titled ‘SAME DAMN SONG’, the Naples, FL-born artist gives an introspective look into what it is like being an artist.

As an artist myself, this song is very relatable. From time to time, it feels like we get locked into an ongoing cycle of living and producing the same thing over and over again. That repetition can ultimately be discouraging, and it can be exhausting especially when you are looking for a new thrill. On the surface, the record is about writing the same song, but it is deeper than that. It’s about being stuck in your ways and allowing relationships, professions, and life, in general, to repeat so much that you want to just scream. ‘SAME DAMN SONG’ is an anthem to anyone that feels the same, and if you have survived months of being stuck at home due to COVID, you will enjoy this record.

Lyrics That Stick

“I ain’t left the house in 3 months

Been inside

Reminiscing on the 2 years

Since we tried”
