Olmos is an up and coming artist and his newest single “Riptide” will definitely leave you impressed. Olmos has grown into his purest form from his Producer/Dj era to unleashing his vocals in a brand new light.In this song, Olmos goes over being in love and being cheated on, while expressing how it feels.
The production on the track works perfectly for the song as it compliments the mood along with the songwriting on it really well. This song’s production is really engaging and feels like a whole journey as it begins with a mellow pad melody accompanied by trap drums and moves onto to an acoustic guitar and acoustic drums in the chorus. I personally love it when artists get candid in their songs, that paired with good songwriting and production makes the song a straight hit in my eyes. I think anyone who appreciates good Emo Trap music would love this song.
