As music writers, it’s our job to find and discover new talent on a consistent basis. Although we do hear a lot of quality songs, the music industry is so saturated that we sometimes look over songs that deserve to be heard. This morning, I happened to find a song that is everything that I look for when it comes to timeless music. From the storytelling lyricism to the guitar-driven production, Jake Daniels delivers his infectious new single ‘Patient’.
After replaying it over and over, I knew I had to write about this song. The New York-based singer is second to none with his buttery melodies, and his genuine lyrics are what draw you in. In addition to the catchy production, his ability to stack the hook with layers using multiple effects will have the song stuck in your head for hours. With that being said, ‘Patient’ is a song that you will want to have in your playlist.
