Ley Vara - Not Enough Time

When it comes to music, we as listeners yearn for songs that are so soulful that they pull at our heartstrings. We dive through endless playlists and different mediums searching for these hidden gems. Joining the ranks with the many successful Canadian artists before her is 19-year-old Kitchener, Ontario native Ley Vara. With her smooth vocals and buttery melodies, she crafts a beautiful song about not having enough time with her significant other in ‘Not Enough Time’.
From the first listen, I can tell she is well beyond her years when it comes to making music. ‘Not Enough Time’ is an introspective love song about being so enamored by someone that even time can’t stop them from being together. It’s raw, sweet, and her vocal performance has so much emotion that it will make you want to experience the type of love that is unbreakable. You can tell Ley is a hopeless romantic, and that she is willing to make it work if they are both willing to go the distance. This song hits the sweet spot in every way, and I just can’t stop listening.
