Although he may be unfamiliar to you at the moment, Jackson Rau has been making waves behind the scenes since the tender age of 18. After being taken under the wing of Grammy Award winning mixer Dave Pensado as an assistant engineer, Jackson gained much needed experience doing work for artists such as Kid Bloom and Big Freedia. He then took everything he learned and applied it to his own solo career. Now, the Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter/producer is back with his 3rd official release titled “ONLINE”.

The single has some of the most innovative production and the vocal production added to enhance the overall sound was much needed. In addition, the single is led by an anthemic hook that’s out of this world, and the lush melodies will pull you in from start to finish. I love the single due to its lyrics being so relatable. Rau discusses not having to meet physically with someone when they can just be friends online. With that being said, this has to be one of my favorite releases and you guys need it in your playlists.

Lyrics That Stick:

'‘You don’t have to come spend the night

You don’t have to show me your life”
