Renø Impresses With His Angsty New Single “Oh Well”

With the oversaturation of music and artists that emerge daily, it is sometimes hard for me to find music that really speaks to me. A majority of the songs I listen to are good but they may lack edge, soul, or they just don’t have the sonic arrangement to keep me interested. However, over the weekend, I stumbled across this emerging artist named Renø, and he may be my new guilty pleasure. Hailing from Sioux City, Iowa, the self produced alternative rapper-singer has been captivating listeners with his slightly eclectic and infectious sound. Now, he makes a triumphant debut on our pages with his angsty single “Oh Well”.
“Oh Well” is a single that feels straight out of an indie rom com. It’s full of lush melodies, engaging sonics, and the hook will make you want to rage. I really enjoyed the single due to seeing many inspirations like Dominic Fike, Oliver Tree, and Hemlocke Springs bleed through the overall sound. Renø shows his ability to create captivating sounds that will evoke raw emotions out of anyone who listens, and this is a hard task to do nowadays.
