Micah Emrich is an up and coming artist based out of Milwaukee and his newest single “no sleep” will definitely leave you impressed. In this song Micah sings about his personal life and how everyone thinks he’s crazy. This song revolves around the concept of him getting no sleep and how every time he’s about to go to bed he gets a new song idea, which then occupies the entire night as he sits down to work on it. Micah is fairly new to the scene, making his debut last year with a couple of singles and an EP under his belt, I can already see him paving his own lane as an artist.
The song as a whole has got such a very laid back vibe to it, feels like something I’d play on my home system and nod along to as I prepare dinner. The production on this track is simple as it consists of an electric guitar, Indie acoustic drums and bass and yet it perfectly fits the vibe the artist is going for. I feel anyone who appreciates dreamy melodic hooks and Indie pop production would love this song.
