Nick Voelker - “Summer Clothes”

Serenity must be Nick Voelker’s middle name. And if it’s not, it should be. “Summer Clothes” gives us a hint of all the sunsets, love, and vibes we missed out on this summer. With September rolling in, everyone really just missed out on their whole summer. Before it gets cold and we dig back into books and work, listening to tracks like this sweet release might just help us capture some of that lost magic.
This breakout artist is no stranger to the spotlight, as well as the capricious nature of the music industry. Having gone from YouTube to creative collectives to finally his own solo career, Nick has release three tracks so far in 2020. Hopefully, the performance of these will spur the artist’s next EP or album, if such a project isn’t already in the work.
Lyrics That Stick:
“Riding with my baby, rolling up our woes
She looking amazing, I ain’t even close
Peaches on the table, mix it with the rose
Trying not to trip, though I’m really not apposed”
