Scout - Never Fade

Hailing from Enfield, UK, singer/songwriter, Scout, delivers a synth-pop single titled ‘Never Fade’. ‘Never Fade’ explores the want to disassociate from nostalgic memories of a bad relationship. Although this is her debut single, the record has a cinematic 80s touch that will have you in a trance from start to finish.
The single is laced with smooth pop melodies and pop drums that will have you immersed in the euphoric production. ‘Never Fade’ is an innovative pop record that draws from numerous inspirations, and the combination of Gethin Pearson (Charli XCX, Orla Gartland) and Joe Cross (Lana Del Rey, Hurts) on the production help bring this expressive record to life. In addition to the production, the confessional lyrics that discuss the rough stages of heartbreak create a personable feel that is relatable to everyone. The lyrics are raw and detailed beautifully to where it almost feels like therapy. Overall, this is a great debut, and it has us excited for her forthcoming EP later this year. If you are a fan of glitzy electronic pop and synth-wave music, this is the song for you.
