Watch Your Step, Nic D Releases Explosive New Single “Minefield”

Have you ever been talking to someone, and caught yourself holding your tongue the whole conversation? Well after listening to Nic D’s new single “Minefield”, you won’t feel alone. This song possesses that high octane energy that you find infused in a lot of pop smashes. The pulsing 4 on the floor drums make the listener start bobbing their head before they even realize it.

When you press the play button on Nic D’s new song “Minefield”, you’re greeted by a bouncy-cinematic guitar lead that captures your attention almost instantly. Followed by the forward-pushing drum groove and Nic D’s confident delivery, the song begins to paint a picture of being fed up with restraining your feelings. I’m not sure if it was intentional, but while the lyrics describe the feeling of wanting to break free from the situation, it seems like the beat almost motivates you to get up and do just that. All of the upbeat, anthemic, production choices combined with phenomenal songwriting leaves us with Nic’s new single, “Minefield”, and I think this one has the potential to blow up.
You may have previously heard of Nic D through TikTok where he initially gained a buzz for doing trick shots while performing his songs, but since finding that initial success Nic has began to dabble in numerous different ventures all while fine tuning his sound, and he’s proven to be much larger than just a “TikToker”.
