MICO - make me leave

Hailing from Toronto, singer/songwriter, MICO, has been releasing indie-pop with lo-fi trap elements. At just 18 years old, the young artist continues to mature, and his new sound that meshes indie-pop with hyper-pop seems to be the winning recipe on his new song ‘make me leave’.
The song opens with a guitar riff that is soothing and creates this idea of security that later is expanded upon by emphatic synths and bass to carry the song. Although it does sound like a sweet lullaby at times, his ability to cross his smooth croons with an electronic flair makes the song so intoxicating. In addition, the chorus on the record is extremely catchy. With that being said, this track is a great introduction to the young artist and you should check this out now!
Lyrics That Stick:
“So if you need more
Tell me, I can be more
Let your wildest dreams soar
Higher and higher”
