Lydia Kaseta Proves She’s The Next Big Thing With Her Latest Offering “Other People”

Between the busyness and craze of everyday life, I always find time to search for the next generation of “stars” entering the industry. Although a lot of artists seem to lack substance, there are artist’s that are really pushing boundaries and deserve to be heard. For me, one artist that I will go to bat for is Lydia Kaseta. With a folk sound that seems to take inspiration from artists such as Lizzy McAlpine, Lexi Jayde, and Gracie Abrams, Kaseta continues to prove that she can be a household name. With her exceptional vocal range, lush melodies, and vulnerable songwriting, she has this innate ability to evoke raw emotions out of her listeners. Now, she debuts on our pages with her latest offering “Other People”.
“Other People” describes the story of friendship and how wanting something more from the relationship leads to loss. Over the captivating guitar chords and engaging acoustics, Lydia shines as she details how she yearns to have this person back in her life. However, although they have a deep history, she has to watch from the sidelines as other people get to embrace the person she loves most. The story is heartbreaking and I think we have all been in a similar situation like this. For me, this is my favorite release of the month so make sure you stream it below.
