After Hearing Lilah!’s Debut EP, We Haven’t Been The Same “Sense”

If you’re reading this, I recommend claiming your Day 1 pass now, because when it comes to Lilah! you’re early. The 22 year old female artist from Brockton, MA gained a new fan within moments of me pressing play on her lead single, “Sense”, from her debut EP, Family Ties.
I had to double check after listening to this one, because I thought she might be from Chicago. Lilah!’s bouncy flow with her lyrics, visual and personal, being smoothly weaved through the jazzy hip hop beat remind me of rappers from my Chicago hometown like Noname, Saba, and Chance The Rapper. All while maintaining her own flavor, Lilah! has given us an EP full of reasons why I’m confident I’ll see her name on festival fliers soon.
