Louisville, KY has been the birthplace of numerous artists that have made an impact on the music industry. Over recent years, we have seen artists like Bryson Tiller and Vory continue to push the notoriety of the great city. One artist that has been recently emerging from Louisville is 2KBABY. In the last year, he has captivated fans with his story-telling lyricism and southern roots. With his new single ‘Like This’, he recruits the well-known masked producer Marshmello to give us one of the most intoxicating songs of the year.
‘Like This’ is an innovative track that is guitar-driven, and the use of trap drums keeps it honest with the rest of his discography. 2KBABY floats over the smooth production as he raps about the highs and lows of the life he has endured. Although he has had his lows, the song is about how his success made him never want to look back at the troubles of his past. The song is a breath of fresh air, and it is something you need to add to your playlist ASAP!
