KoVu, Alli Simms & Jp Thornewell - Swisha

Before we say anything about the actual song, can we just take a second to appreciate the artwork? One of the coolest shots that I’ve seen in a long time, and I’m sure it took a ton of work to get it. Lucky for us, the song that it represents is just as clean.
‘Swisha’ gives us the talents of three different artists: KoVu, Alli Sims & Jp Thornewell. The 3 of them all bring something different to the track that gives it a very complete feel. Simms does an incredible job with the chorus, and the other two both kill the verses. ‘Swisha’ is about the importance of music in their lives, how hard they work, and is a little bit about flexing how far they’ve come already. It’s a feel good song, and belongs at a pool party as soon as the quarantine is lifted.
Lyrics That Stick:
“Work, work, work, and I’m working some more
Same ones that need a favor never come to a show”
