Over the last month, Buppy. has become an artist that we have kept on constant rotation. He initially caught our attention with his singles “Fight The Temptation” and “Open My Letter”, and he has continued to impress. With his innate ability to pour his heart and soul into his records, he manifests a sound that is too captivating to turn off. Now, he is back with another vulnerable gem titled “i retract all the love i let you keep”, and this may be our favorite release from him.

The single was produced by Eeryskies, Pilotkid, Spencr, & frequent collaborator BOIA, and it tells the story of the downfall of a past relationship that occurred during Buppy.’s move to Los Angeles. Buppy. uses the song’s duration to speak about how is move led to the break-up, and then examines the days after the downfall. The song is vulnerable and gut-wrenching at times, but his feelings make this song so relatable. Overall, this is one of our favorite releases and you need to add it to your playlists now!

Lyrics That Stick:

“So maybe I’m alone

Since I moved states”
