HELLSTRVCK & Blu Velvet - Intertwine

With its modern grunge feel, HELLSTRVCK and Blu Velvet blend elements of rock and emo on their bombastic new record ‘Intertwine’. The record is made up of hazy and washed-up vocals that give the record a very ambient feel. Although this is my first time hearing the artists, their chemistry is strong, and their ability to create intoxicating music is displayed on this record.
‘Intertwine’ is smooth and the vocal performances are enough to keep you engaged from start to finish. In addition to the guitar-driven composition, both artists offer honest takes on the forming of a relationship. Their lyrics are raw and mature, and they don’t hold back any emotions. With that being said, this single is perfect for late-night drives, and it deserves a listen.
