Sweeney Has Us In Awe With His Unapologetic New Single “Get Back”

When it comes to music, I always try to find songs that move me as a listener. Although there are a lot good songs out there, we pride ourselves in finding the sound of tomorrow. After shuffling through hundreds of songs, I luckily found a new single by rising singer/songwriter, Sweeney, that made me feel alive again. Even though I’m new to his sound, Sweeney has an ability to craft singles that evoke emotions that are unmatched. The rising artist can’t be put into a box, and he possesses a true ability to make singles that cross genres.
On his new single, Sweeney leaves his manners behind and delivers a song that truly brings back all the angst of being young. Sweeney is energetic and he allows his vocals to shine over captivating electric guitars and an indie-grunge sound that reminds me of early 2000’s English rock. When I listen to this song, I want to tell everyone that did me wrong to get out of my face.
This single is pure emotion and it makes me fall in love with music again. There are not enough singles that really catch my attention but this single really got me. “Get Back” is pure and it has a unique aura that many never tap into. Sweeney may be new to our pages, but he has truly proven himself to us. Overall, this is one of the best mixed and developed songs we have heard in a while and I’m glad we found it.
