Felix Ames Delivers His Highly Anticipated Single “Don’t Be Alarmed”

If you are an R&B lover like me, you know that the genre needs more love industry wide. Over the last few years, it feels like the soulful R&B I grew up listening to is making a comeback. However, it’s coming back with a beautiful twist by adding alternative & indie elements. The industry is shifting, and I can truly see the genre having a renaissance in due time. One artist that I consider to be “One To Watch” is rising singer Felix Ames. Although he is still finding his footing, Ames has the “IT” factor, and he debuts on our pages with his latest single “Don’t Be Alarmed”.

“Don’t Be Alarmed” is a smooth single laced with lush melodies, warm sonics, and an ear-worm hook. The record has this warmth that reminds me of the calm of a Sunday morning. Drawing some comparisons to Omar Apollo, Ames is carving his own path and I love what he is doing. He doesn’t hold back. “Don’t Be Alarmed” is raw, self-reflective, and it deserves to be in your rotation!
