Jaywop Proves Proves He Is A Generational Talent On His Latest Offering “Drive”

If you have been looking for some new heat to add to your playlists, then look no further. After captivating us with his last release “Red Water” that features Mick Jenkins & Donte Thomas, rising rapper, Jaywop, is ready to be your new favorite rapper. With his exceptional vocal delivery and smooth cadences, Jaywop has continued to impress us. Now, he has returned with his latest album “Corduroy”, and it may be the album of the year. The project is cohesive and the production is full of smooth sonics, lush melodies, and great progressions. Although we enjoyed the whole album, the song that stuck out to us has to be his single “Drive”.
“Drive” is the first single on the album and it is so smooth sonically. The record is laced with nice synths, lush melodies, and it has a swing that will make you want to drive around late at night with the windows down. In addition, his vocal cadences are captivating and it only further proves is undeniable talent. Overall, this is one of our favorite records and we can’t wait to keep him in constant rotation.
