B Murph - don’t trust a soul…

I don’t know if it’s just me but I have seen a recent explosion of talented artists come out of Australia. Some already established artists would be Tame Impala, Troye Sivan, and The Kid LAROI. Although their global artists have left an imprint on the music industry, B Murph has his eyes on being up there with the best. At only 17 years old, the rising singer/songwriter from Melbourne has been gaining momentum with his ability to craft introspective singles that are relatable to just about anyone. With his new single ‘don’t trust a soul…’ the emerging artist delivers a single about losing trust in a significant other that he catches cheating.
Although many of us haven’t been cheated on, I believe everyone can relate to losing trust in people after being wronged. In this case, B Murph decides to air out his one-sided relationship, and he shows how a broken relationship caused him to lose trust in those around him. Can we really blame him for coming to that conclusion? The songwriting on the record is raw, and it pairs well with the guitar-driven instrumental. Overall, the song provides all the feels, and it is a must-listen.

You just used me to get close”
