Ellis is an up and coming artist in the game and his newest single “Don’t” along with Justin Starling that will definitely leave you impressed. In this song, Ellis sings about a girl he’s into as he mentions the things he likes about her while also telling her to not play him for a fool, where as Justin raps about a girl he’s involved with.
The production on this track works perfectly for the song as it compliments the mood and the songwriting of both artists really well. This song’s production begins with a mellow and groovy synth and consists of some hard knocking trap drums as the vocal performance continues. I think anyone who appreciates good RnB and Rap music with well written rap verses would love this song.
This song is definitely going to be on repeat for awhile. Ellis and Justin Starling’s musicianship, songwriting abilities and hard work are what have got them to where they are today and we’re here for it !
