Kid Travis Proves He Can’t Miss With His Latest Offering “Diamonds”

When it comes to having quality & quantity music wise, Kid Travis comes second to none. Over the last year, we have seen how versatile the emerging singer is, and it feels like his songwriting only continues to mature with each song. Although some artists may have some fatigue with a release strategy like his, Travis continues to outperform himself. Now, he is back with his latest single “Diamonds” and it has us all going crazy.
On his new record, Kid Travis is reminiscing a relationship that went sour do to his significant other’s thirst for monetary needs. The singer discusses wanting to turn back time due to this girl only being around for the diamonds and designer bags she is being “gifted”. With his lush melodies, warm vibrato, and infectious hook, Travis shines all over this record. His cadences are engaging, his lyrics are relatable, and the sonic progressions will have the song stuck in your head well after the song is over. Overall, this has to be one of my favorites from Travis as of late so make sure to add the song to your playlists.
