LA-based “existential hip-hop” duo CLOUDxCITY, have been on a roll this year. After catching our attention with their single “Better Than Me”, they return to our pages with their latest hit “Stalling” featuring Cory Enemy.

“Stalling” is a sonic masterpiece full of lush melodies, captivating song progressions, and I love the production arrangement. Drawing influence from various genres, the track presents a hypnotic fusion of future bass, hip hop, and R&B – all while retaining the underlying pop sensibilities that make CLOUDxCITY’s music relatable and flirtatious.

“Stalling” was written with the pair’s long-time friend Cory Enemy. Enemy, a dance music producer who has worked with the likes of Katy Perry, David Guetta, and A-Trak, was the cherry on top when it comes to this record. Overall, the song is a can’t miss record, and it came right in time for summer. So, if you are looking for new music for your summer playlists, stream the song below and put it in the rotation.
