Christian Allain - Ocean Blvd

For a second when I saw the title of the song, I thought it was going to be a cover of an old Yellowcard song, until I realized that one was called ‘Ocean Ave.’ This one is called ‘Ocean Blvd’, and is a completely different song, yet still incredible and very heartfelt.
Christian Allain tells a story of growing up, and missing home as you move away. It sounds to me like he grew up, or lived at some point, on Ocean Blvd. Now, as he’s moved to pursue music, he misses the simplicity that his prior life held for him. The song is slow and methodic, and the songwriting is 10 / 10. Go and do yourself a favor, and reminisce with Allain.
