Zachary Knowles - carpool

When it comes to taking long drives, there are certain songs that prove to be the perfect soundtrack on these lengthy trips. For me, rising singer/songwriter, Zachary Knowles, gives me everything I’m looking for in his new intimate cut ‘carpool’.
The record explores the mental traffic jam that one may get from being disconnected or far away from the person they love. Zachary’s vocals are smooth, and his stacked harmonies evoke emotions that’ll make you feel so connected to the mature lyrcism displayed in the single. I think we can all agree that being stuck in traffic is awful, but Knowles gives his perspective on the mental anxiety of it and the parallels to a long distance relationship. The song is very relatable and it deserves to be heard on those long drives and commutes.
