Hailing from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, emerging four-member indie alternative-rock band, Yardij, have been a band that we have kept a close eye on over the last 6 years. With their introspective sound, they have continued to capture listeners with their ability to evoke emotions with songs that feel raw and relatable. As a group, they consist of frontman/vocalist Deja Elyze, Anthony Vilarino (Guitar), Alex Athanasaw (Bass) and Jordan Solomon (Drums). Although they have a strong hold in the industry, they have gone the last 4 years without a single release to work on themselves and new music. Now, they break their 4-year hiatus with their latest hit “Caller ID” and it is flawless!

“Caller ID” is that statement record that I feel tells all their fans that they’re still “here”. The record is full of lush melodies, engaging sonics, introspective lyrics, and it has a hook that is captivating. Deja wrote this song after her ex cheated on her. Rather than burn his house down, she opted to pour that energy into something cathartic. This song isn't angry, it's the end of the process of mourning a relationship you lost.

“To us, it's the culmination of that feeling of I did everything for this person and it still wasn't enough. We want to get this song in front of as many people as possible because we think it captures a feeling that everybody has felt before.”

Overall, this was a great return from Yardij and we cant wait to hear more. Until then, stream their new single below!
