Devon Again Returns With Her New Indie Pop Hit “Burn Down”

Devon Again is a 20 year old up and coming artist based out of Los Angeles and her newest single “Burn Down” will definitely leave you impressed. In this song Devon sings about this one time her building caught fire as she was moving out of her apartment while also expressing her love - hate relationship with the city of Los Angeles. Devon is fairly new to the scene making her debut this year and following it up with “Burn Down” and I can already see her paving her own lane as an artist.
The production on the track is really engaging catering to the needs of the song perfectly, I personally love how the mix is really clean and crisp in the verses and gets slightly distorted and gritty in the chorus, I feel it adds more character to the song and takes the listener through a different sonic journey. I feel anyone who appreciates Indie pop with a gritty and fun production would love this song.
This song is definitely going to be on repeat for awhile. Devon Again’s musicianship and songwriting abilities are going to make her shoot onto the mainstream scene anytime now, so check her out before then!
Lyrics That Stick:
“Smoke in my lungs
Dirt in my mouth
I don’t give a f*ck
If the city burns dwon”
