Although I am fairly new to his sound, dev soter is an artist that has an innate ability to craft refreshing singles that blend indie-rock with pop undertones. On his latest effort “between the lines”, the Massachusetts-native delivers an angsty record that has a raw feel that makes it so captivating.

The single is laced with smooth pop drums and the electric guitars are enough to pull you in from the start. In addition, his vocals were exceptional and it reminded me of English indie-rock singles from the late 90s and early 2000s. Overall, dev was able to successfully capture something special with this single, and this has to be be one of the most timeless releases we have heard this month. With that being said, stream the single below and rock out!

Lyrics That Stick:

“It’s a shot in the dark

But maybe I

Could’ve seen the fall thru blinded eyes

I would take it all back but not tonight”
